July 20, 2015 – Lewis Contractors has been awarded the Maryland Minority Contractors Association (MMCA) Best Practice Award.
Lewis was honored, at the 5th Annual MMCA Summer Soiree held July 17, 2015. This was the firm’s second time being named as the winner of the Best Practice Award. The award recognizes one company annually that has demonstrated exceptional minority and women-owned business inclusion practices for the year.

The Maryland Minority Contractors Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1977, composed of minority and women business groups and individuals within the State of Maryland. Direct contracting opportunities for its members thru continued networking with other companies, associates, and providing solicited list of contractors to requesting general contractors.
Its mission is to provide assistance to minority and women owned businesses with respect to the development of their businesses, including, but not limited to, taking an active role in the review of legislation and programs that effect their well-being.
