December 3, 2018 – At a ceremony held at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, Lewis Contractors was honored to be named one of The Greater Baltimore Committee’s Bridging the Gap Achievement Award finalists. This award recognizes and honors exceptional minority and women-owned businesses and executives who encourage the development of minority and women-owned businesses in Greater Baltimore and Maryland.
The construction industry, as a whole, has long been known for its generosity and commitment to civic service. This award is of particular importance to Lewis in that it recognizes the company’s commitment to growing both its industry and the minority firms who work to change the landscape in which we live, work, worship and play.
Over Lewis’ more than half century of work in the Baltimore community, the company has worked with skilled craftsmen and craftswomen and has enjoyed sharing its accumulated knowledge to benefit firms of all backgrounds throughout the city and surrounding counties. Lewis demands excellence in this endeavor and is committed to providing its customers with nothing less than exceptional project management and quality craftsmanship on their projects.
Company President, Tyler Tate, said, “We have enjoyed working with Maryland’s MBE community in the past and look forward to ever-increasing relationships in the future.”
