St. John’s College Greenfield Library
The project involved the comprehensive renovation to the historic Hall of Records Building at St. Johns College in Annapolis, Maryland, with a total project area of 29,000 SF. Work involved a complete interior gutting and roof replacement, while the historic façade was preserved. Perhaps most unique about the project was the design of the architectural interior—the projects numerous curvilinear cabinets, skylights, column enclosures, and walls were designed to resemble the orbits of the planets as described by Ptolemy, Kepler, and Copernicus.
