Old St. Paul’s Church
Work on the historic Old St. Paul’s Church included both an emergency structural repairs and a renovation of the undercroft. Emergency shoring was installed after a large snow event to prevent further damage, and permanent steel reinforcement of wood beams and rafters were installed for structural stability. Work also involved sandwiching beams with 1” steel plates, welding attachments and seats in the field, and plaster and custom woodwork repairs. The area surrounding the work in the sanctuary included stained glass, pews, millwork, and lighting—due to the historic nature of these elements, extra precautions were taken by the Lewis Team to avoid damage.
