Rosedale Baptist Church | Preschool

The Rosedale Baptist Church Preschool project entailed the conversion of the existing multi-tenant, single-story office building into a new childcare facility including multiple new class and childcare rooms with associated dining, activity, and administration areas for students, faculty, and staff. The comprehensive 31,000 SF renovation created six childcare rooms, eleven colorful classrooms, private one-on-one teacher-child discussion areas, a health care room, a full-service cafeteria for meal-time, and bathrooms complete with both adult and child-size amenities. To cultivate the creative imaginations of the preschool students, an innovation laboratory was created, along with a library with wide-ranging youth academic resources, several indoor play areas, and an exterior playground for outdoor play. New offices, a conference room, reception desk, and multiple data and electrical closets were provided for smooth daily faculty and staff operations. The fast-track six month project began with the complete demolition of the existing interior office space and continued with the reconfiguration of several mechanical and electrical system tie-ins throughout the facility.
